Iron Works Jam: Gettin’ Rowdy for the Right Reasons

Big River pumps up the volume in community fundraising by placing a fresh spin on a favorite local musical event benefiting the Sacred Heart Center.

When the usual performing posse said ‘adios,’ the barn doors were flung wide open to re-brand the event and create a totally new premiere musical showcase. Dubbed “Iron Works Jam” (so named for its venue, the historic Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond, Va.), this boot-stompin’, knee-slappin’ series sets a progressive stage for the hottest emerging talents from the country music scene. In 2006, Pat Green-one of country music’s fastest rising stars-will rattle the rafters and raise the roof (and the funds) for one of Richmond’s most beloved charitable causes.
