Big River, a Richmond-based, independently-owned branding and advertising firm, has hired Rina Amin as Account Coordinator. In this position, Amin primarily supports Big River client, the Virginia Lottery, assisting in account management capacities.
Most recently and prior to joining Big River, Amin was a marketing associate at WellPoint, where she worked with a cross-functional team to implement strategic marketing initiatives promoting health and wellness. In particular, her role included supporting the overall Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield brand. She gained valuable experience in project management that included overseeing the development of collateral and sales presentations, as well as working with creative agencies to produce various marketing materials.
Amin holds degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated cum laude in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and magna cum laude in May 2010 with a Master of Science in Business with a concentration in Global Marketing Management.
