Big River hires Dee Briggs as Broadcast Production Guide

Big River, a Richmond-based, independently-owned branding and advertising firm, has hired Dee Briggs as Broadcast Production Guide. In this position, Briggs is responsible for guiding the flow of the broadcast creative — from idea to finished product – for Big River clients including the National 4-H Council, Virginia Lottery, WellPoint, and others. In each assignment, Briggs is responsible for maintaining quality, budget and turnaround time.

Most recently and prior to joining Big River, Briggs spent nine years as a freelance producer, working with clients and agencies including Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, UNOS, ISM and The Martin Agency. He began his career at Fox35 in Richmond as an On-Air Director, Film Editor, and Commercial Producer/Director for nine years, followed by Arnold Worldwide as a Broadcast Producer for four years.

Briggs also is an active volunteer with Physicians For Peace, a national organization committed to sending medical professionals overseas who provide training and education to health care professionals in developing countries. Recently, he traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic, where he filmed a documentary for the organization, citing the vast need of outside healthcare assistance.

A Richmond native, Briggs is a 1987 graduate of Virginia Tech, with a B.A. in Communications.
