Job Description:

  • Provides support to the agency, and client team in order to ensure smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day business between Big River, clients and our partners.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, practicing professional judgment at all times.
  • Fields requests from client and/or team to ensure that requested modifications (e.g., copy or layout changes) are documented communicated and implemented.
  • Continually learns about the client’s business and markets.
  • Assists the team with logistics and scheduling of events, meetings, sessions and presentations.
  • Works with account team to organizing input for project briefings.
  • Thinks through implications and develops next steps during meetings, conversations or whenever project parameters change. Prepares client contact reports.
  • Keeps entire team informed of project status and/or changes. Maintains weekly status reports.
  • Proofs correspondence, presentations, documents, print ads and digital, maintaining agency’s quality- control standards.
  • Assists the account team in managing the development, production, placement and billing of jobs in an organized, error-free manner.
  • Provides relevant account knowledge to teams regarding the client, its industry and its competitors by collecting information from established sources and creating items such as competitive analysis.
  • Builds a positive relationship with clients, agency, partners and vendors.

Social Media Strategist

Overview
Big River is looking for someone with the unique combination of strategic-thinking skills, client-management experience and creative and content production. We need someone who can conceive, research, develop and present interactive strategies, including deep knowledge of mobile, Web, search and social media, based on our clients' objectives and target audiences. The successful candidate will inspire client confidence by developing insightful, high-impact interactive solutions with clear measures of success. Solutions will include the right digital connects, linking back and forth with traditional media.. The successful candidate must be a trendspotter, providing perspectives on emerging directions and platforms. Because the successful candidate will have client contact and help allocate agency resources, he or she must be a natural collaborator who can move effortlessly throughout the different functions of the marketing organization, both within and outside the agency walls.  

Must have proven track record in:
• Working in a collaborative creative environment.
• Being highly organized with the ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines
• The ability to drive business development efforts with existing and new clients.
• Experience integrating cross-functional teams (technology, marketing and creative/design) together in support of programs and campaigns
• Leveraging social media marketing initiatives for listening and engaging, not just broadcasting
• Creating links between brands' social media presence, sales and customer retention
• Successfully managing multiple complex clients and projects simultaneously
• An aptitude for uncovering and analyzing client goals
• Being a persuasive and engaging presenter among business leaders as well as industry peers

 
 Skills and Qualifications:
• Five or more years of experience in any of the following: interactive, advertising, communications, marketing or public relations industries
• Understanding of branding at all levels
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Expertise in analytics tools
• Good teacher and listener
• Passion for social media and demonstrated success using it in business
• Ability to explain projects in terms both clients and programmers can understand
• Ability to successfully manage multiple complex clients and projects simultaneously
• A"find a way to solve the problem" attitude
